City of Caledonia Utility Bills
You can pay your utility bill in the lower level of city hall or there is a drop box located on the building outside that says “City of Caledonia”. The City currently accepts cash, checks, money orders, and also offers automatic withdrawal from your account. Bills are due on the 10th of each month (if the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday bills are due on the next business day).
If mailing your payment please allow 3-5 business days for you payment to be received. A late fee will be applied to any payment received after the 10th of each month. The City’s address is:

Garbage & Recycling Pick-Up by Richard’s Sanitation
Garbage and Recycling is collected on each Monday in Caledonia. Please have it placed on the curb before 7:00 a.m. for collection. Garbage bags can be purchased at Kwik Trip or Quillin’s IGA. You must have Richard Sanitation garbage bags. You can use any type of container to hold your recyclables for curbside pick-up. The City does not provide containers. Houston County Supervised Drop-Off Site
The Houston county supervised drop-off site is available to residents of Caledonia on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For further information please contact Houston Environmental Services at 507-725- 5800 or Houston County Recycling at 507-896- 2535. Directions: Turn west off of Highway #44 by Evergreen Cemetery. Go approximately 1 mile; take private driveway off of curve.

Diseased Tree Site Hours
The Diseased Tree Site is open seasonally: Mondays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., weather permitting and is available for Caledonia Residents to dispose of biodegradable materials such as leaves and grass.
Directions: Take County Road 3 east of town, at the bottom of the hill take a right onto County Road 32, go 1 block, road to the left goes up the hill.
