2018 Municipal Election Results

The unofficial results of the November 6th, 2018 election show that Brad Rykhus and David Fitzpatrick won seats on the Caledonia City Council and Dewayne (Tank) Schroeder won re-election as Mayor. Results of City races will not be final until canvassed by the City Council during their meeting on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

2019 Pet Licenses

 Pet licenses are now available for 2019 and can be purchased at the Caledonia Police Department.  Animal licenses should be purchased before January 1st each year. The cost for the license is $10.00 There is a $2.oo discount for each altered or spayed dog or cat (paperwork needed).  If your license is not obtained before January 1st a late fee of $2.oo will be assessed starting January 1st and every month thereafter. Alternate Side Parking Winter Period Goes Into Effect Nov. 1!

Alternate Side Parking: A traffic control plan to facilitate snow plowing/removal during designated winter months, requiring all motor vehicles, trailers, wagons, dumpsters and all other obstacles to snow plowing vehicles to park on opposite sides of the street every other day. Recreational Vehicle Permits

If riding in the City of Caledonia recreational vehicles must be licensed at City Hall each year. The cost is $25.00.  Proof insurance must be provided to obtain a license.  Recent updates  to the City Code regarding Recreational Vehicle Permits can be found below. Spring Load Restrictions

Spring Load Restrictions will go into effect on Friday, March 2, 2018.
