N. Kingston St. Reconstruction Project Update (July 24, 2018)

Here is a brief update on the status of the N. Kingston St. Reconstruction Project and what to expect in the next week: Current Status The grading crew that was supposed to start grading the first three blocks of N. Kingston Street yesterday was delayed and will be starting tomorrow (i.e., Wednesday, July 25, 2018). N. Kingston St. Reconstruction Project Update (July 19, 2018)

Current Status All new water and sewer services have been installed in the first three blocks of N. Kingston St. (from the intersection of Main St. through Caledonia St.). These three blocks will be converted from temporary water to live water starting today, July 19. This will require A-1 Excavating personnel to access homes and businesses in these areas to turn the water valves back on. North Kingston Street Reconstruction Project

Work started in June.  Most of the construction will be completed by the end of October, with final paving and cleanup finished by mid-summer 2019.

Recreational Vehicle Permits

If riding in the City of Caledonia recreational vehicles must be licensed at City Hall each year. Spring Load Restrictions

Spring Load Restrictions will go into effect on Friday, March 2, 2018. HOUSTON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT The Houston County Department of Transportation is announcing that its Spring Load Restrictions will go into effect on Friday, March 2, 2018.
